Thanksgiving

Today I celebrated Thanksgiving with fellow Americans that I work with.  We had a fairly traditional meal using the local ingredients.  Fortunately someone brought a pumpkin pie from Costco since they are hard to find around here.  :)  It was a nice meal and nice meeting the families of my coworkers. 

It is a good time to reflect on all that I am grateful for, especially my family and friends.  They have helped me through some very difficult times and they are the reason I am able to experience the world during these great work opportunities. 

On a different note, I included some pictures of another war memorial I saw the other day.  There is a flame that has been burning since 1954!
